January  4, 2025.... BB Gun Safety Course Daisy/Jaycee and following Saturdays until State Match. Practice dates may vary with the weather. Current Membership in the National Rifle Association is recommended for participation in any of these NRA Matches.  Membership may be required by USA Shooting and CMP for the JOSC & HS 3P. Membership in the TnSSA is required for all State Championships. The range is 12 miles north of the Cookeville courthouse on Hwy 136. The range will be on the left just after crossing Spring Creek into Overton County.

NRA 2700 PISTOL

SPONSOR: Bend of the River

LOCATION: Cookeville, Tennessee

ELIGIBILITY: Open to anyone 14 years of age or older.  State Rifle Association membership and NRA membership is recommended.

ENTRY FEES: $7.00 per individual for first gun and $3.00 per additional gun. This fee covers all NRA fees, targets and entry .

ENTRY CLOSED: Entries will be accepted to 1:00 PM on the day of the competition. Firing points will be assigned on a first come basis.

COURSE OF FIRE: NRA Short Course

LOCATION: Cookeville, Tennessee
ELIGIBILITY: Open to any Tennessee resident  between the ages of 8 and 15. Must be 15 or younger on first day of the  DNBBGCM 2024 (Date to be determined later-  will be about July 2nd, 2024).  There will be a Champion of Champions match for individuals that are 15 on April 3rd but will be 16 before the DNBBGCM.  
CLASSIFICATION: All shooters will shoot Expert
ENTRY FEES: $5.00 per individual. You will need to fill out entry information file and return by March 15th, 2024. Entry form download here
COURSE OF FIRE: Match 1: 10 Shots Prone 10 Minutes
  Match 2: 10 Shots Standing 10 Minutes
  Match 3: 10 Shots Sitting 10 Minutes
  Match 4: 10 Shots Kneeling 10 Minutes
  Match 5: 100 point quiz
  Match 6:   Aggregate Individual use scores from Match 1-5
  Match 7:   Team 4 person teams use scores from Match 6
SIGHTING SHOTS: Unlimited sighting shots in the 10 minutes allowed for each position.
TARGETS: The Orion Scoring System will be used. Decimal scoring will be used.
TEAMS: Teams will be 4 highest scoring members from each club selected by the computer. 0r you may pick your team by giving each 4 person group a different team name.
RULES: Current NRA BB Gun Rules
RIFLES: Rules 3.1. (Daisy 99, 199, 299, 499, Champion)
SIGHTS: Daisy 5899 or original.
COACHING: Coaching will be allowed. Coaches must be polite.
EQUIPMENT: Rules 3.5-3.18, Only Daisy steel competition BBs will be allowed.
CHALLENGE: As required
AWARDS: Trophy to individual 1st, 2nd, 3rd Aggregate and test.
Trophy to 1st, 2nd. 3rd PRONE, STANDING, SITTING AND KNEELING Only one individual trophy per person. Team 1st. Trophy to team 2nd if more than 5 teams and 3rd for 8 teams or more.  Champions Match 1st Aggregate score with test.

Must be 15 or younger on first day of the  DNBBGCM 2024, July 2nd, 2024.  There will be a Champion of Champions match for individuals that were on a National team last year or are 15 on March 2nd but will be 16 before the DNBBGCM. 
CLASSIFICATION: All shooters will shoot Expert
ENTRY FEES: $0.00. You will need to fill out entry information file and return by March 1st, 2024.   Entry form download here If you do not have an Orion scoring system,  order targets now.
FIRED TARGETS:  must be at the Bend of the River or scored to the virtual match by noon on March 2nd, 2024. May be fired with supervision at home or at a scheduled practice.. 
COURSE OF FIRE:
 Match 1: 1 Shot Prone       10 Minutes 
 Match 2: 1 Shot Standing   10 Minutes
 Match 3: 1 Shot Sitting     10 Minutes
 Match 4: 1 Shot Kneeling  10 Minutes
  Match 5: 10 point quiz
ALL shots to be fired on the Number 2 bull. N0 other shots shots should be outside the sighter box..
  Match 6:   Aggregate Individual use scores from Match 1-5
  Match 7:   Team 5 person teams use scores from Match 6.   Dynamitic selection.
SIGHTING SHOTS: Unlimited sighting shots in the 10 minutes allowed for each position.
TARGETS: The Orion Scoring System will be used. Decimal scoring will be used. Orion Match (two part) targets will be used. This is a virtual match. If you have an Orion program contact Charlie to join.
