ELIGIBILTY: Open to all teams sponsored by a Jaycee chapter, 4-H club, etc. Participants must be at least age 8 and not older than 15 on day of the match. Participants may not have been a regular team member at DNBBCM last year.  They must have completed the Daisy Shooting Education Program or an equivalent course of instruction. A copy of each competitor's birth certificate and a parent or legal guardian permission form may be requested during registration the day of the. Individuals who fired as regular members of a team competing in last years DNBBGCM are excluded from firing as a team member in this match. These excluded shooters may fire in our Champion of Champions individual match.

 

REGISTRATION: $50.00 per team. Teams consist of five members declared at the time of registration. Alternates are optional, but limited to two per team. $10.00 per competitor in the Champion of Champions individual match.

 

ENTRIES: Send entries to Bend of the River, 2880 Standing Stone Hwy, Cookeville TN 30506. Phone: 931-498-2829 Make checks payable to Bend of the River. Entries will be accepted until 9:00 a.m. on the day of the match as long as firing points are available. Awards for late entries will be mailed the week following the match.

 

RULES: Current NRA 5 Meter Gun Rules and the Official Match Program will govern this match. All ties will be broken.

 

EQUIPMENT: RIFLES: Rule 3.1 only Daisy models 99, 299, 499 and Champion 499 may be used.

Sights: Daisy 5899 or original as approved by Daisy only. Daisy BBs will be provided.

 

TARGETS:  The Orion Scoring System will be used.

 

 

 

FOOTWEAR: No footwear higher than the ankle may be worn. Coaches,

please advise your shooters not to wear high top sneakers, boots, etc. to

the match. They will be asked to remove them.

 

EYE PROTECTION: EVERYONE ON THE FIRING LINE MUST WEAR EYE PROTECTION!!

 

SCHEDULE: 8:00 am – 9:00 am Registration, Equipment Check, and Practice

9:00 am      Relay 1

10:00 am    Relay. 2

11:00          Test

12:00 pm    lunch

12:30 pm – Relay 3

1:30 pm –  Relay 4

4:30 pm – 5:30 pm Awards

 

CHALLENGES: $1.00 Per challenge. Challenge period is for 1 hour after

tests or targets are posted,. Test challenges are for grading mistakes only not for the test content.

Daniel Shakleford Memorial Trophy 1st place shooting scores only

Aggregate Champion 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place (shooting plus test)

Written Exam .  Trophy for 100 on Test

Prone Position 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place

Standing Position 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place

Sitting Position 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place

Kneeling Position 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place

 

Aggregate Champion of Champions 1^st  (Last years Daisy National team             members)
