MIKE THOMPSON WINS BASTILLE DAY PRECISION PISTOL MATCH

 

COOKEVILLE, TN – Mike Thompson from Cookeville won the Bastille Day Pistol Match with the score of 1915-5X.  Second place went to HelenMarie Kulis from Cokeville with 743-3X.

The weather was just hot.  High temperatures and bright sun.  Everyone drank a lot of water and had a good time.  Helen Marie has just been shooting competition this year and had a vast improvement in her scores this month. 

The match is 270 shots.  90 shots are with a .22 LR caliber handgun, 90 shots with a center fire  caliber (.32 to .45) and 90 shots with a ,45 ACP caliber handgun.  Revolvers and semi-autos are allowed.  In this match any sights are allowed.  There is no extra consideration for iron sights or scopes or electronic sights.   The Xs are shots near the center of the bullseye that are used to break a tied score.
