'POSSUM BB MATCH

(Pre-state match)

SPONSOR: Bend of the River

LOCATION: Bend of the River, 2880 Standing Stone Hwy., Cookeville, Tennessee

ELIGIBILITY: Open to anyone between the ages of 8 and 15 on day of match and did not shoot as a team member at the DNBBGCM last year

CLASSIFICATION: All shooters will shoot Expert

ENTRY FEES: $4.00 per individual. You will need to fill out an SR-1. in advance or on site.

STARTING TIME: First relay at 8:30 AM. Test after relay 2. Lunch will be provided( hot dogs and cokes ).

COURSE OF FIRE: 10 Shots Prone 10 Minutes

10 Shots Standing 10 Minutes

10 Shots Sitting 10 Minutes

10 Shots Kneeling 10 Minutes

100-point test

Match 1: Aggregate Individual

Match 2: Team 4 person teams

TARGETS: The Orion Scoring System will be used.

TEAMS: Teams will be 4 individuals dynamic selection.

FIRING POINTS: Firing points will be assigned on a first come basis.

RULES: Current NRA BB Gun Rules

RIFLES: Rules 3.1. (Daisy 99, 199, 299, 499, Champion)

SIGHTS: Daisy 5899 or original

SIGHTING SHOTS: Unlimited sighting shots in the 10 minutes allowed for each position.

COACHING: Coaching will be allowed. Coaches must be polite.

EQUIPMENT: Rules 3.5-3.18, Only Daisy steel competition BBs will be allowed.

CHALLENGE: $1.00 per challenge . Challenge time will be for one hour after targets are posted.

AWARDS: Trophy to individual 1st, 2nd, 3rd Aggregate with test.

Trophy to 1st, 2nd. 3rd PRONE, STANDING, SITTING KNEELING AND TEST. Aggregate winners not eligible for position trophies. Team 1st. Trophy to team 2nd if more than 5 teams and 3rd for 8 teams or more.

DIRECTIONS TO RANGE: 10 miles North of Cookeville on Highway 136 North. Just over the Overton County line.
