JEFF NORROD WINS BACK TO SCHOOL RIFE MATCH

 

COOKEVILLE, TN – Jeff Norrod from Monterey won the smallbore rifle match held recently at the Bend of the River.  Norrod had the Score of 1086-17X out of a possible 1200-11X.NO bad for such a hot sticky day.  Second place went to junior shooter Jayden Grider that had 1066-12X.  Jaylyn Grider was next-to-last with an 911-2X. 

It was a pretty day for shooting, but it was hot and humid.  A light breeze almost helped tne temperature but did not affect the flight of the bullets.   Every one consumed a great deal of water and had a good time. 

The match scores were close from the start. 

 

The next match at the Bend of the River is the Pre State Match on April the 9^th and the State BB-Gun Match to be held April 16^th at the Livingston Academy.  These matches are open to boys and girls that are between the ages of 8 and 15.  The public is invited.  For more information contact Charlie Pardue at  (931) 498-2829 or  bendoftheriverpsc@twlakes.net  .
